How to delete some or all of your Docnizer data
Docnizer lets you remove specific data from the app without deleting your entire account. This page explains how to delete individual data, how to delete your full account, and what data is removed in each case.
Delete individual documents
- Open the Docnizer app and sign in.
- Go to your files or the relevant folder view.
- Open document options.
- Choose Delete or Delete permanently.
- Confirm the deletion prompt.
This removes the selected document from your account. In some flows, you may also see Remove from folder, which only removes the folder link and keeps the document itself.
Delete person profiles
- Open the Docnizer app and sign in.
- Go to Person Profiles.
- Select the profile or profiles you want to remove.
- Tap the delete action and confirm.
What can be deleted without deleting the account
- Individual uploaded documents
- Individual person profiles
- Some folder links or folder items, depending on where the document is organized
These actions let users remove selected data while keeping the account active.
Delete your entire account
- Open the Docnizer app and sign in to the account you want to remove.
- Go to the profile screen.
- Tap Delete account.
- Confirm the deletion prompt.
Account deletion is permanent and cannot be undone.
Data deleted with the account
- Your Docnizer account profile
- Uploaded documents stored in Docnizer
- Document folders linked to your account
- Person profiles created under your account
- In-app notifications and reminder state tied to your account
Retention and support
Deleted documents or profiles are removed from your Docnizer account through the in-app deletion flow. If some records must be retained for legal, fraud-prevention, or operational reasons, they are kept only for the minimum required period.
