This policy explains how Docnizer collects, uses, and protects your information. We build Docnizer to help you store, organize, and retrieve personal documents securely.
Information we collect
- Account data: name, email address, and phone number.
- Uploaded content: documents, images, and associated metadata.
- Usage data: device info, IP address, and activity logs.
How we use information
- Provide document storage, search, and AI-based insights.
- Transactional emails only (OTP, verification, password reset, security alerts).
- Improve product reliability and detect abuse.
Email communications
- Email is required for account verification and login security.
- Verification emails are sent only after explicit user action.
- Verification codes expire automatically.
- Resend throttling and per-user/device/IP rate limits are applied.
- No newsletters or promotional/marketing emails.
Storage and security
Data is encrypted in transit and at rest. Access is restricted to authorized systems and personnel.
- AWS services: S3, RDS, SES, and KMS.
- Transactional email scope: OTP, verification, reset, and security alerts.
Compliance posture
Docnizer follows GDPR-aligned privacy principles. Formal certifications are published separately when completed.
Sharing
We do not sell your data. Data is shared only with infrastructure providers or when legally required.
